At present, we have six chairs available for hire. These are all push-type chairs.

 

Hippocampe

The Hippocampe is a chair which the user transfers into from their own wheelchair. We have 3 sizes of Hippocampe:

 

Small – for users up to the height of 5ft or 1.5 metres

Medium – for users up to the height of 6ft or 1.8 metres

Large – for users over 6ft or 1.8 metres in height

All of the Hippocampes are suitable for users up to the weight of 130kg or 20 stone.

Nomad Desert

The Nomad Desert has the person’s own manual wheelchair loaded on to it, with the person in it.
